Starring actors Ema Sofia and Hugo Nicolau, ‘The Distance Between Us’ explores two kinds of separation: the space between who we’ve become and where we come from, and the ongoing divide between traditional male and female roles.
When we leave home, we evolve. When we come back, we confront a strange truth: we’ve changed, but the place that formed us has not. Modern femininity carries the same contradiction; we speak of progress, but there are still limitations.
This editorial explores what it means to return home as a changed version of yourself and to navigate what it means to be a woman in a world that claims to have changed more than it actually has.

Exploring duality, Held Between portrays the subtle tension between light and dark within the feminine identity.
Through shifting forms and shapes of the body and materials, Thais moves between different states: softness versus strength, visibility versus obscurity, and presence versus withdrawal. Representing how femininity can be shaped internally and perceived externally.
Rather than trying to define a fixed state, this series holds the different versions of us together. Suggesting that wholeness exists not in choosing one version of ourselves, but in acknowledging both the light and dark. Femininity is not fixed; it’s a deeply dynamic identity that is layered and blooming – we are always expanding.

ULUS is a photographic exploration of contemporary masculinity. Shot at Praia da Adraga, a raw, stripped-back visual narrative of freedom, identity and presence. The series utilises understated styling with a muted palette to echo the natural environment in each frame, allowing the body and landscape to coexist. A soft, more introspective masculinity grounded in authenticity rather than performance.
